Hi chaps
About a year or so ago I did a job for a customer, and he has just reordered the same.
Unfortunately I forgot the size of the bit I used, and stupidly didnt record it at the time. There are right angles in the shape, and in the sbp (MM, arcs) file I notice some CG commands in the positions the tool goes round these right angles. They all include the number 3.2.
Am I right in assuming that this means I used a 6.4mm bit?

Simon.

The easiest way would be to use the FC command in SB3. Just set files of type to open up an SBP with the FC utility. Then save the file as a DXF. Then open up a new project in PartWizard etc, and paste it in. You'll see the jog lines, so you will have to edit them out. Look for features that you know the dimensions of, and play with the offset tool to get the correct size you need, using the transform and measuring tools to verify.

Do a test run of the process by creating a circle in PW and toolpath it. The do the FC routine, saving as a DXF. Import it into PW and see what you get. Then do it for real with your file.
