We had need to fabricate a small furnace made of 1/4 inch steel plate. (BBQ Cooker!) I used Bobcad to draw the thing up and then used its offset function to move the lines 1/2 inch to compensate for the offset of our plasma cutter. Used 1/2 inch MDF and cut out the pieces. Clamped them to a sheet of steel and traced around them with the cutter. Everything came out the perfect size, with the radius that I wanted and fit together like they should. Save at least a whole days time and- for sure- some waste steel.
