Sbdt program

in sbdt program you can create tool path for z axis and it will plunge to a set depth.can i create a tool path for a axis and get the same results. i am trying to use both heads with different cutters and cut profiles at the same operation.or will i have to set a axis manually
each time. needs help thanks
