HSD 2.25 Spindle current

Can someone give me the current ratings of the HSD 2.2 single phase 220v spindle? I am getting ready to run electric in my shop. Full load current would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I just ordered a bot with the HSD 2.2HP, 220V and had the same question. The factory told me the amp draw was 24 FLA. Hope that helps.

24A would be the 4 HP HSD.
THe 2.2 is a 1.7kw spindle 1700Watts / 220V = 7.72Amps


24A at 220 would be 5,200 Watts.
1HP is 745 Watts.. so 5200/745 = 7HP.

Just my thoughts... I don't have one.

My hitachi inverter for a max 2.2kw (3hp) 220v motor has an output rating of 10 amp (3ph) and an input rating of 22.5 amp (1ph) or 13 amp (3ph). You should be able to download the inverter manual and check.
