What kind of power line will we need for a 3hp Spindle?

So we're looking at upgrading to a Spindle. But we don't have a 220/230 single phase line anywhere near the 'bot. We'll need to get one put in, but I don't know what kind of amps a spindle will pull so that we can get prices from our electrician to run the line.

So, can a Spindle just be hooked to normal 10 or 15 amp lines, or does it require a dedicated 20 or 30 amp line? We're got little space left in our panel in the shop..

You need a 20 amp. dedicated line. But if you run more tha 50 feet of wire up the wire size to 30 amp wire. You don't want problems with voltage drop.
