Are you informing us of the sale or are you asking if it's a good deal?

Not sure what the price is your neighborhood Jack, but around here if that's Signfoam 3 the going rate for single 2"thick sheets is $506.95, and the discount for buying 12 sheets brings it down to $486.71......Anyone else have a "local"price to compare it to?

I may be comparing it to something else by mistake, but it still sounds expensive. The last guy i carved some sign work for mentioned it was in the $300.00 range but i can't swear what the specific material was. You know the memory is slipping...

I got some 3 sheets of 2" Signfoam in San Antonio TX last year the cost was $425 per sheet. So $333.33 per sheet is not to bad.

With shipping cost has high as they are you may loss all your saving.

Tim,

For those of you who live in Texas, you are lucky ot have Laird Plastics who stock Duna brand HDU. All HDU isn't equal. For example Precision Board's 15lb is close to 10lb Duna. We no longer use any Precision Board because it's so soft. The only two acceptable HDU's for us is Sign Foam and Duna. If the HDU on the web is Duna, that's prabaly a good price.

I was just informing you if anyone was interested. I am in Saskatchewan so shipping would kill me. I thought that if someone was in that area this might be a bargain as they are open to offers.

There are several brands of HDU and not all are equal. Sometimes you can get special deals on damaged and seconds that are not perfect for reduced prices but thicknesses are often inconsistent.

Just a few weeks ago we bought a 4' x 8' sheet - 2" thick / 20# Corafoam for $440.00 - picked up, no delivery.

Depending on what brand and condition, that price is pretty good...if you could pick it up. Shipping would drive it through the ceiling, though.
