German's got the answer.

This forum has been in operation for a long time and many good questions have been previously addressed and discussed in detail. There's a wealth of savy information in the docket waiting to be accessed. The SB search engine is very effective tool. There you will find more indepth techniques and experiences than can be expected from one single posting.

I have to chuckle when I seen questions on how to approach Extira, PVC, Slate, Marble, etc, all of which have been covered many times.

Guys,

Thank you so much for responding. Joe, I did search the forum, but couldn't find anything on this particular material. I was asking for pointers or warnings because the last time I used a manufacturer's recommended feeds and speeds I got very poor edge quality. This forum is a truly amazing wealth of information and I am grateful for it.

Jim, to cut this tipe of material in 3/4 thick I use for small letters, 5" and less a 1/8 end mill four flute 1" CL at 16000 or 18000 RPM, 1.5" or 2" PS, .375 step down, for that job use a 1/4 end mill 4 flute and you can go full depth. you can see de edge quality here:
