I thought eCabinets was free to try but would not produce cut files. Is that not the case?

It is free.
It is free to use indefinitely.
It will produce a TWD file.
But you can not cut from that without the Link.

That's what I thought. When I tried to install it asked for a registration code. I finally tripped over how to get one emailed but it wasn't an easy find. Maybe I missed the obvious but nowhere did I find a reference on how to get a code.

That registration code is a pain.
But I guess Thermwood pays money for the use of some software moduals inside ecabinets. The code is a way to keep track of how much they pay.
The code generator is on there forum front page.
No limit on the codes you generate.

When you register on the ecabinetsystems.com site they then send you a registration code by email. If your email account has a problem or if your spam filter gets in the way you may not get the email with the code. You can also contact Thermwood by phone to resolve any problems you may have with your registration.

Once you are registered it's easy to get more registration codes.
