I want to glue a few sheets together to cut some simple halloween decoration type stuff. What is the best glue to use. The white sheets are cheapest and will work fine for making tombstones and such, but I would like to know about gluing all foams for future reference?

PS what dries fastest so I can cut ASAP?

The proper hot glue will be the fastest. Polyurethanes, "Gorilla Glue" and similar seem to work well.

I've edge glued pink foam sheets together with "construction adhesive" (the type of stuff you use with a caulking gun) with good results.

Fred,

Stucco Suppliers carry a product called
Foam2Foam that is used to stick foam to
buildings and to other foam, however it
tends to expand a bit and leave a large
joint.

Some craft stores (i.e. Michaels),
sell a spray foam by 3M specifically for
sticking together foam.

If you do use Gorrilla Glue or Construction Adhesive, put only very light bead as it will
Expand when it dries.

The 3M glue dries fast and flat.

West Systems 5 minute epoxy seems to work fairly well also. I don't think that I would use it on wood though...

I've pealed the plastic cover off of the faces and then used spray adhesive. Almost any will work
3m comes to mind as the last one I used. I use it like contact cement by spraying both pieces and then CAREFULLY sticking them together.
