I am looking for some book on sign making or magazine to help me set up my sign making business. thank you for any help

I'm glad to see your going into the sign business. Takes me way back. Armed with a few good design books, and a router you're going to do just fine.

For years I've collected old sign books. Many of them are rather cheap online. Look under old used books. I buy in the early part of the century. There a constant inspiration to me. Although most of the techniques are out of date, the design concepts are far superior to most anything we have today.

Let me know what you are interested in and I will gather up a few titles for you. Sorry I don't know of anything current.

I'd also suggest you locate a contenporary, top drawer, sign guy and watch what he does. Perhaps I can suggest a few.
