here is another hdu entry sign we designed and made from hdu. The stone was actual stone installed by others. Now that the construction industry is down due to the economy we have not done alot of these.
However to get the connection to the builders we joined all the builders organizations around here to support them. Plus we were really the only ones in our area who were offering these types of signs so we developed a niche market in our area for a time period until others wanted in on the slice of pie. then there were pricing wars and the quality began to slip. Now what is offered is a perceived quality using a combination of vinyl graphics/plywood/aluminum with a small bit of hdu. They look good and we have to adapt.I will post some of them later. We use all Matthews two component paints for everything which does make it cost a bit more. It was nice to use because it dried so fast and hard and we could do more production with that paint faster.
