Hi all,

First post here. I have been looking all over the place for a thickish, clear application tape for vinyl lettering. However, the closest I have come has been the R-Tape (I don't remember the actual name of the tape version), but it had the elasticity of wet toilet paper. I'm looking for something that's a bit thicker, like a sheet of paper.

Can anyone help me out?

Thanks in advance!

No, no. For vinyl lettering.

This sounds like a question for the signmakers' forum. Are you refering to the "transfer tape" that is used to lift the vinyl from its backing and transfer it into position?

David,

That is correct. Did I post it this in the wrong forum?

Bah, it's more of a social club than help

Hmm. this looks somewhat social to me? As taken from your site thesignindustry.com as written by you Erik... The administrator

Constantine, The Movie
"Saw the movie lastnight, great flick! The first previews that originally aired made it look cheasy, but the previews a week before showed a different side of it. Lastnight on a rainy night made the perfect atmosphere to go out and see it. Not giving anything away but it's worth seeing, has a serious side plus some good dry humor. Not a wait for video movie

"The Hitch" is next on our list."

I would suggest Those who live in glass houses may wish to reduce the number of stones they cast themselves.

Careful Dale - Erik might well have been talking about his own site.

yes you are right gerald, and Erik if in fact you were referring to your own site as a social club, then I apologize, As I have found Letterville very helpful to me in the past, so I have some what of a soft spot for it.

aside from that how are you Gerald?

I'm okay (or "good" as some of you say). Just hoping for some cooler weather and rain. We have a drought here.

It's remarks like your last one, Gerald, that makes socialising in Forums very bad form!
more snow here

What i'm saying is letterville is a HUGE social club. I haven't posted anything in that forum but Social Topics. I don't exactly see any posts in that forum regarding "how to, how do I do this?" CNC or real sign topics, if there is they are dug so deep in the back I never see them. That is the general thought that is in the air when ever see posts from other sites talk about Letterville. I'm not putting letterville down in anyway, maybe you paid to be a member there. I think Letterville is great, but I never get any questions answered there. I have added some off beat topics to mine yes, but it's far from anythign like letterville.

I started mine mainly for sign folks from this site to mix with others as a service for help. I see a lot of topics that have nothing to do with cnc here. I just thought it would be a good idea since I do forum boards for mainly gamers.

It's just my opinion about letterville.
