Well, we have had our router 2 months now and this is the fruits of the first completely in house built sign using the router to cut and hog out lettering and art work.

We use to cut lettering with a jig saw and hog out with a hand held router...those were the days.

This sign is 9 x 4.5 feet and 12 inches thick made of expanded polystyreen with a cement / nylon mesh foundation coat and acrylic stucco skin. The lettering is 1/2 inch Sintra (PVC Sheeting ) available through your sign supplier.

Enjoy:

What is that strange tool in his hand? By the way, nice work.

My son Steve is trying to rake out the ground with a shovel, because I forgot the rake. But, I did remember the level this time.
