E chain on new 48-96

I;m at the point of putting the supplied e chain on the gantry, using the dimensions in the manual[says 31.5 in from end of gantry extrusion], and am finding that the z carraige is being restricked travelling to the left, the right side will travel fine. I'm thinking maybe the supplied e chain is maybe too short,it seems to be stopping about 5 in before the factory installed stops. Any ideas out there?

Mike, I don't recall what my final measurement was but I had to move mine a bit from the suggested location. It worked fine for me after the tweak.

Greg, I did adjust so it could travel to the factory stop on the left, but then it couldn't travel to the stop on the right? Should the r
outer/ spindle travel equally to both sides?

Mike, after I tweaked the adjustment I have the full expected range of motion from one end of the gantry ("Y") to the other.
