Just wondering how many ShopBot link users there are. If you are one, just post a quick note here.

Add me in. Very pleased with it.

I am hoping they work on the cabinet regeneration speed, which can be fairly slow for complex cabinets.

On the list and slowly getting better at using it.

working well for me. Echoing Nats thoughts on regeneration speeds though.

I sent a private message to Larry Epplin with the following suggestion. Never heard back though.

When setting up cuts where small parts have tabs first have SB Link do the layout so that the tabs are not cut off by adjoining parts. Second, have the tabs located at the narrow part (end) of the part instead of the long (side). The machine is already slowed down, because it just rounded a corner, so put the tabs there. If you put the tabs on the long length of a part the machine has to slow down on the long cut (after it's gotten up to speed) to make the tab. This idea might decrease cutting time a little and save on the speed up and slow down cycles for the machine.

Thoughts?

If you are looking for a total headcount of Link users, then look back at the last Thermwood email which announced the release of the 1.0.15 update. By my count, there are 26 names on that list.

Not a huge number, but certainly far more than have responded to this thread.

26 users? Now we know why this type of software costs so much. My thanks to Thermwood for developing this software, I certainly isn't a money maker for them by the sounds of things.
