I hate to keep repeating myself but my machine has been in mothballs for quite a while and I have forgotten how to save/generate sbp. cutting files from Vector..Vector seems to be a dinasour around here in 2006...What I do remember is the guy "Fred" at vector was not the friendliest person that I've ever communicated with...Thanks...Gary
PS: Any shopbotters in Middle Tennessee that I could possibly get more shopbot savy from ?? I live in Gallatin..

Gary,

I'm still using that dinosaur, but mine is only a little over a year old
.

Once you have your toolpath created and selected, find the icon for "Insert NC" and choose the shopbot post called "shopbt2g" (you will probably have an older version if you haven't updated in a while). That should open the Vector NC window. Then hit the button for "Generate NC" which will create the .sbp code. To save it to a file, go to File/Export and give it a name with the .sbp extension selected in the file type list box.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions/problems.

Scott

Gary,

I also use the dinosaur on a nearly daily basis. Any questions, I'm available too.

Gary, my son is now the daily user of it, but I can remember some of it.

This forum still has Vector as a topic (http://www.talkshopbot.com/forum/messages/401/401.html) (still open for new posts and threads), but most of the posts are in the Vector archives (http://www.talkshopbot.com/forum/messages/401/8322.html) where you can find: link1 (http://www.talkshopbot.com/forum/messages/401/676.htm) , link2 (http://www.talkshopbot.com/forum/messages/401/1469.html)
