should be screened i own a prt96 checking on my cables i see none are screened.
i have not had any problems that i can say was caused by un- screened cables.

Paul,
I am not familiar with the term "screened cables". What does that mean to you?
Are you talking about shielded cables?

Paul...
I am assuming that you mean "shielded cables". I have replaced all the input/output wiring between my gantry and control box with shielded cable in an effort to eliminate erroneous stop/prox hits. 9 twisted pairs with shields and drains, 27 conductors in all. It seemed to be an improvement at the time. I can't say that it cured my problem, which was one of the reasons for the replacement.
I would also be interested in results from anyone that had replaced the OEM SB motor cables with a shielded version.
