I have to go give a demo to show a group of people how to use their PRT with router. They are not sure if their software is up to date and I have to do a bit of traveling. In case their software is not up to date ot if they have probs with their computer. Can I just bring my cpu that I use with my alpha or do I have to change something? I have never used a PRT. So just to get them up to speed and incase they have not upgraded, can I just simply use my control software along with part wizard? Or is my software specific for an Alpha?

SB3 is specific; Alpha go with Alpha and standard with standard... and PR go with DOS.

Burned the latest SB3 standard on CD(s) or just have it on your laptop HD (or on USB key drive) in case of... you still can use PW or any of your software with either Alpha or standard.

You'll see it all, quite clearly
at Shopbot's CONTROL SOFTWARE DOWNLOAD webpage at URL..
http://www.shopbottools.com/controlsoftware.htm

Select what you like, but read carefully!
If you have a hi-speed internet connection,
you may want to pre-download several of the installers on that webpage above,
and burn them all to a CD, which you'll then walk with.

That way, you'll be 'The Man', when you arrive,
having everything to hand, immediately!
