Restart probing?

I don't have my bot yet but i have a question. I have an indexer and chuck up a cylindrical part to be probed. I know i don't have to probe the whole thing, just half and mirror the other half. But lets say I put it onto probe go away and when i have to use the table can i index the part, stop the file then restart it again later to finish or do i have to start over?

Yes...but it would be tough to align the 2 DXFs in your CAD program (ArtCAM probably the best at this operation) and have them match up.

It would be worth it to wait until you have the time to probe the entire area in one shot.
