I am trying to cut some electric receptacle covers but the file has a glitch in it. It will cut the center screw hole on the inside profile. However when it trys to cut the actual receptacle shapes it cuts on the outside of the line, I am using a .125 bit". When I preview the cut it only shows the center hole being cut and not the two receptacle cover holes. Wen the bot trys to cut it will cut the center hole correctly inside the line bit the holes are left as solid material and it trys to cut everything else away.

I tried to upload the file but it is too large. How can I attach the file? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What software are you using to create your tool paths?

Tim,
If you are still haveing trouble with this, let me know. I made a bunch of outlet covers on the Bot using Partworks and they came out pretty good. Still have the files.

Sounds like you are selecting the rectangle that defines the outside of the cover plate as well as the openings, so you are pocketing everything between the two. Make sure you have only the openings selected when you calculate the toolpath.

Mike,

I would love to have the files also if possible. I have a project coming up that would be great to use a custom cover on it.

Thanks,
Jeff
