Got my PRS today!!

Im very happy with what I got.. I was not expecting it to be as heavy duty as it is.

Putting the table together was a snap. I had the help of my son and followed the directions more or less, got it up then squared and plumbed it.

The table is still about 1/8" out of square and I still need to tie in steppers, Y axis and true in the X car. But its up and I was in kind of a hurry because I had some buddies come by after they got done on a job to help me with the gantry.

More work on it today. I got to the shop at around 11 its 6 now and im still working on it.

Its alot of work tweeking the guide rails etc making them perfect.

To my surprise it sags under its own weight in the center almost 1/32"

Also the legs are pretty squirley they are twisted about 1/16 - 1/8" so I had to loosen the bolts that goto the alum rail and shim them because it was really tweeking out the rails.

All in all I am pretty excited about it and not rushing through the build, I want it perfect and its still out of square about 1/16" but everything else is pretty good.

So tomorrow I'll take another "sick day" lol and finish it up right.
