I have a profile which is essecentially a 7" rosette that I need to reproduce. I am not able to probe the original part because it has to stay on the building. So I have the measurements for the various points across the profile. I can't figure out how to draw the profile in Partworks and get the 3d image I need. I have drawn the basic circles but I can't figure out how to get the convex/concave profile from one circle line to the other in order to develop a file that can cut this over sized rosette.

I'd appreciate any input you may have to share.

Thanks,
Steve

can you post a picture of this rosette and maybe we can find one that is close or even the same.

you can't draw 3d in partworks. so anything with tapered curves your out of luck with partsworks.

Would it be possible to use the shopbot extruder to create the circle. I just arched top casing using the extruded. That way I could draw the profile and extrude the circle. Is that possible?
