This probably should go in the Troubleshooting forum, but more people monitor this one.
I have a BT32 with a PC router that was stalling partfile execution depending on router rpm. Everything was fine at 13K, a few program stalls at 16K, a stall at every vector at 19K and couldn't even load a partfile if the router was at 21K. Turn the rpm down, program starts again. Yeah, go figure!
After talking with Frank at ShopBot, we figured that it had to be the router. I was going to install another PC 3.25 hp I have laying around.
But after returning to the Bot, inspiration and memories of cranking the rabbit ears on top our Admiral TV when I was eight to tune in that single channel changed my mind.
I had mounted the router with the vents running in the Y axis so that the brushes were pointing towards the motor. After rotating the router 90 degrees, no problem!
Turns out that Frank and I are both from the 'rabbit ears' generation.
