All

I just recently sold my prt96, do to health and moving into a smaller home. Now I believe I can fit in a benchtop model. Is anyone running the new benchtop model or even the bigger alphas and are you impressed or just so so??? I never seemed to run fast speeds and didn't have problems with lost steps.

I was an owner of prt96 but felt the slow speed
was a disadvantage especially with bit life.
The increase in speeds will allow one to set rpms
and speeds for optimum tool life. The stiffer carraige will be of huge benefit as vibration also affects tool life. I would consider buying the Alpha and am looking forward to hearing opinions of new owners

I'm running an upgraded PRT and I am very happy with it! Very fast and no lost steps.
