As the title says... I'm a new shopbot owner and I'm already tired of walking back and forth to my keyboard to move my router around the table to zero it to my material.
I'm using a desktop with XP to run the shopbot and would like to purchase a wireless remote that's easy to install and configure.
I'm open to all suggestions... so let them fly.
Thanks in advance,
Eric
I just use a wireless keyboard and a wireless mouse. They've worked great with no problems for a year and a half. I think they cost me about $20 on egghead.com. You don't need highend.

Eric,
Go to http://www.talkshopbot.com/forum/messages/27/332.html#POST21945 and read the postings re the Rumblepad. I have been using one with my Bot for a couple of years.

I agree with Joe. I tried a cheap microsoft one and it did not have the range. I returned it and went with the logitech.
Logitech wireless, but my favourite now is the itouch app with the use of a Laser Center/Edge Finder.

Hi Eric,
I can highly recommend the shintaro wireless keyboard.

Works like a treat and has built in track ball.
Its one of the best additions i have made to my router.

I use the wireless Logitech gamepad too. I've set the other buttons up to run standard cuts and other useful shortcuts.
Looks so much cooler when I have visitors using the joystick to move the bot around.

If you have an iPhone or iPod Touch you can use the ShopBot Remote App. It works great and only cost $2.99.

It seems like a lot of you are using the Logitech Rumblepad. I think I'll look into aquiring one of those.
Thanks for all of the information,
Eric
