Which Breakout board are you using and are you running Mach 3. All you need to do is connect the wires to one of your inputs on the Breakout board. the wire that is connected to the table is - and the wire that is connected to the plate is +. In Mach 3 go to port and pins and to the input tab, the find probe and give it the address (port & pin)of the input. Hope this helps

I have one of them. You also need to download some scrip from the forum file section. Email me off forum and I will send you the one I use.

Paul, the needed script for your Z plate is already built in to the screen set I made for you.
Forgot to mention that in the last email I sent you.

Hello, I bought an old shopbot and I'm trying to make it run with Mach3 software. The other CNC machine I have is a home made small router with a custom board, the ones you buy on ebay for $75. The shopbot has a SERIAL port and my old one has a PARALLEL port. Is there a way I can set up the ports and pins so the shopbot will move or do I need an interface like those pdmx I read? Should I be using a different software?

I use a cambell design board with gecko 203v drives.
