I think this is the same set of files that I downloaded from here a few years ago, and recently put on my webserver for you all to download. search my posts from the last 30 days and you can find the link.
Here:
I downloaded these from somebody here on talkshopbot a long time ago but never got around to using them myself. If I remember correctly they need some adjustments, but it's a very cool santa, sleigh and reindeer cut from plywood. You MUST post pics here if you download and cut...;)

The links don't work directly unless you put http:// in front of them. You can copy and paste them into the url box in your browser.
Thanks for posting!~

Rob-Thanks for putting them on the web. Every year they end up being mailed all over the place. I think once upon a time they were on the SB site. The read me file says they are set up for 5/8 ply and also tells you how many of what to cut
Sleigh Read Me.txt (http://www.talkshopbot.com/forum/messages/312/Sleigh_Read_Me-45259.txt) (0.9 k)

Has anyone got a close up view of the assembled Santa in the picture at the top? I'm looking at the DXF trying to see how to put him together. Is he supposed to be holding a book/list? The picture is so low res, that I can't tell. Thanks.

The Santa is not part of the files. I think that was Dale's own and might even be a large Santa Doll.
I see that the TXT file doesn't want to be opened so here it is pasted in it's entirety:
Santa Sleigh and Seats
Original sleigh and reindeer design - Ed McCullough
Wedge assmbley - Bill Young
As we are all using differnt software I have provided on the DXF files in actual size so you may arrange and apply tool paths as you feel fit.
All files are sized and designed for a 4' X 8' 5/8" material sheet
Sleigh Instructions.
In this file there is only one seat and one wedge as well as the sleigh pattern for one side.
You will need 12 wedges as well as three seat sections and two sides to complete this sliegh. Pleas increase numbers to complete the sleigh
Deer Instruction
It is all pretty simple just cut with a 1/4 inch tool path and you are good to go.
If you have problems with the file please do not hesitate to drop me an email dale.kerr@sympatico.ca
Hope you enjoy.
I used a .25 upcut spiral cutting @ 1.25 inches per/sec

Dave - The santa that I am talking about is in Rob Williams' "santasleigh.zip" file that is in this thread. It appears to be the Santa sitting in the sleigh in the picture at the beginning of the thread, but the picture is so low resolution, I can't make out the details.

Brad: I didn't have that one-It was apparently added by someone after the original sleigh and reindeer were created. The dxf was written on 2003. Since the parts don't have the usual slots I would hazard a guess from the pieces that it is designed more to be pinned together flat rather than the cross slotted pieces for the other two files. The Artcam file was set up for 1/2" material and to be cut with a 1/4" bit. Maybe someone who cut it is still around and knows more. I can't figure out what the two bottom pieces are either!

I finally figured out how to get the Santa put together and painted. It took some trial and error, but it turned out pretty well. I used all the pieces as-is in the original files on this thread with the exception of 2 pieces. These two pieces were the ones with the straight but angled edges that were parts of Santa's list that he is holding. I attached the dxf of the new parts that I came up with to replace the originals. I also added a dowel rod to help hold up the head that you can see in the picture from the back. I attached everything with screws, so that I could disassemble if needed.
I also made the sleigh and reindeer that I already have out in the yard. I'll try to take a pic of the whole setup if I can get home before dark one day.

I recently received a private message asking for these files... sorry for the delay, I had to set up my webserver again on my home network.
Please review this old thread for information and download at will...
