Govt Credit Cards and PayPal

Anyone doing US govt work payed with CC?
I take major cards thru my "merchant" acct at paypal
I have started getting small projects from the Navy, but was told by one purchasing agent that they can't do PayPal?/
Have you had this issue when working with the govt?
or have I been misinformed

The government jobs I have done were through the GSA and it took 4 months for me to get the first check which was a deposit for the job that had been fully completed and inspected/accepted 3 months before. Start to finish it was over 6 months to be fully paid for the work performed.

If your paper work is right you get payed in 30 days. At least we alway have been. that eather by check or by there cc.

I think I can get this done by using PayPal "Virtual Terminal" hangup will probably be getting
the billing address..
