Hello,
Can anybody describe the process of taking a picture(bitmap or jpeg)and prepare it in a photo editing software, currently using Gimp, for importing into Aspire.
Thank you

Aspire will import jpegs without any prep. You just have to create a new project and give it a size. Then you can import it.

Jerry,
Thank you for the response. I have been able import to Aspire, however the photo I am working with is a bitmap and for myself that maybe the problem. The surface quality is poor and looks like the bitmap it is very rough. Perhaps I need to convert the bitmap to a jpeg if that is possible or ???? The point of the greyscale is to modify/touchup.

quote:Perhaps I need to convert the bitmap to a jpeg I assume you are talking about a BMP file. Converting BMP to JPG tends to make the image quality worse rather than better because of the compression routines used for JPEG.
