I drew a rather simple 3" long, 16" diameter arc in PartWorks in the X orientation. I used the Extruder to convert the part works file to an extruded file. I also set the travel limits to -10" and 10". Then used the "Flipper to flip it to the X travel direction. The travel speed was first set up in PW at 8"/sec using a .5" ball nose end mill but I told the program it was a regular end mill per the extruder's instructions.
When I ran the flipped / extruded file the Z is now running about 1" above the height of the surface. Yes,I did Z off the surface. The other strange glitch is the travel speed slowed wayyyyy down to about 1"/sec.
After the files were flipped and extruded I can no longer open them in PartWorks or PartWorks V2.0. Anyone have any ideas?
