Real nice Mitch - great design. Hmm... I could use a couple of shop stools...

Mitch, nice use of the Mayan calendar.
I am working a v-carve/3d design for inlays myself. I'd love to see a closer look at the center face and the outer edge.

Khalid, looks as though you deviated from your original design and eliminated the center tier(level). What were your considerations?

What Materials?

Joe.. The design by MITCH is very sturdy and well engineered

The bottom plate of my table should actually located at the center tier.. but it was just a make shift arrangement, and i want to check whether it will look beautiful at extreme bottom.. and this table was located in my junk yard store for few months and then My brother-in-law took it to his home

What did you use to make it? I was thinking of something in baltic birch but the edges look better on yours. That is nice!

its mdf .. i then ran over the edges of everything with a 1/8 roundover. Using the 1/8 bit on the legs eliminates the need to use dogbones on the slots as it all fits tight if you use the matching 1/4 bit to cut it all out
