Anyone seen or have a good idea for a LinkerLog carrier/container?

I have several designs in mind but thought some of you may have dealt with the issue.

(FYI-I tried to get to the LinkerLog Forum but got "Error 404 not available")

Hey Les,

I just checked it and it seems to be working for me...hopefully just an internet hiccup?

Bill:

Tried again and it is accessible.

I have registered and will ask the question when the acct is activated. It does not look like there is much traffic there but it should be a good source since since I assume it is the Fountain Head.

Is Ron Brown considered to be the person as the Head "Fountain Head" of this idea?

It sure is clever.

Hi Les,

You've been activated so jump in.

And you're correct, LinkerLogs wouldn't exist without Ron Brown lighting the fuse.

Is a 5 gallon bucket too small? If so why don't you stack them up on the table and get an idea of the space you might need and just build your own carrier?

Here is a pic of a dxf i have that if you think you can adapt it or use it email me and i will send it to you. Its too big to post here.

Jack-I have emailed you for a copy of your files

Jack & Others - FYI-I have also posted on the LinkerLog Forum in case there are some that keep up with that instead of this Forum.

Would be cool to design a carrier out of LinkerLogs.

Hey Charles,

I've done a real simple concept model in Sketchup along those lines and posted a picture on the LinkerLogs forum at:

Les,
Have you seen the box design for linker logs? If you go to the home page of Linker Logs, scroll down and click on the link for the story from Mechanix Illus. Once there go to page 3 and you will find the dimensions for a box. This is what I did--it will hold the pieces of 4 sheets ver nicely.

Gary:

No, I did not get into the article but now I have When finished I will have about 4 sheets of parts so, this idea is workable.

Do you find that kids put the parts away OK?

Thnx for the tip.

They have the ability to put them away.

They have a box to put them in.

Do they have the motivation???????

Not so sure about that, unless mom or dad get involved.

I added A hole in each piece and used A rope to cary and hang them.
