ok i know this is annoying, and im sure that the solutions is beyond simple. i am just trying to get my bot to go to x2 y15 before and after it runs a part file so it does not run into my work. the 0x,0y are at the bottom left corner and it keeps going there when i run a file...PLEASE HELP and HAVE PATIENCE.

On the material setup on the "toolpath side,"
change your home position as desired, and then
recalulate the toolpaths.

If your work isn't too tall adjust your safe z height so it clears your part.

You can also use the Shopbot editor to edit an existing .sbp file. Just edit both start and finish positions from 0,0 to 2, 15.
Like Eric said, I always like to set the safe Z so that it always clears your part regardless. I learned this lesson on a Bridgeport CNC milling machine. I tried to send a 3/4" endmill to home position, problem was that there was a 2" thick Kurt vise jaw in the way. It was not a pleasant sound to hear.
