Anybody know of a program that works well at altering greyscale? I want to move from a greyscale to Aspire. It has worked, however there are a few areas that I need to alter with signifacant change in Z depth, both high and low. I am working with a JPG picture and started by altering to black and white.

there is a freeware version on the web site. This is a very powerful image editing program written by a photographer. It is not a memory hog so it will run on almost anything. I am not connected to the company, but we used Ron's program since 1989 for our image editing, as well as Photoshop.
I am not sure what the capabilities left enabled in the freeware version are, but it is worth a look - and free.

John thank you for your suggestion, what version do you have? I see there are several releases with debuging. I think I will stay away from the latest as it does not have the debugging complete.

Lots of applications are available online. Gifgit will be useful in the image editing process and altering greyscale!! Try that !!
