For Christmas my mom wants a LOUD handwound nonelectric ticking clock, a small one that sits on the bedside table and the kind she had as a kid was called a Big Ben from Westclox but the one i got you can barely hear.

Do any of you have anything like that you can recommend brand and model number or any info on? The louder the better. This not anything i want to build just go out and buy but can't find anything loud...the loud ticking is what she wants.
Thanks for indulging my OT request.

Thanks jerry i had done that and found out walmart had them and went down and got one but it just isn't loud enough with the ticking. This is one of those situations where you want to find something that a parent wants regardless of the hassle. That was why i enlisted the help of all my "pals" here because hundreds of eyes are better then my four when searching. thanks again.

My daughter bought a wind-up clock from Ikea earlier in the year.

She stopped using it as the ticking kept her awake at night and she sleeps like a log so it must be pretty loud.
