Application:

Cutting U shapes into clear pine. This will be a 2 D keltic knot.

I need a 1/8" ball or Ushaped cutter.

I looked at tapered bits (onsrud) but looking for guidance if this is the correct bit to use
(77-104 is what I was looking at)

Customer wants 19 panels cut. The 4x20 keltic knot will be engraved in a 5.5 x 23.75 raised panel.

I have heard of Whitside as providing great bits, and they will occasionally provide a custom profile for minimal charge over the cost of a base bit.

Not personal experience, but from a reliable source I believe.
