Large project spanning several sheets

I would like to create a large format project spanning several 4' x 8' sheets of material.

Is there an easy way to lay this out?

I did this for a large curved bar I made.
It was 4 sheets long.

I used V-Carve Pro to lay it out.

What do you have for software?

I have part works and part works 3d

I am confident do this by hand using partworks, drawing the entire file then deleting the section(s) "hanging over" the 4' x 8' segment. Then repeating this for each section

I was hoping the file could be automatically "split" by the software....

Part Works is a dedicated version of V-Carve Pro.
The software will not split it up.
I zoomed out, drew the project, then shifted sections over the 48x96 material.
It goes pretty fast, you just need to draw 'match lines'. Then node edit to get the sections separate to tool path, shift to another section and repeat.

That is exactly what I did.

I am glad I tried this on a simple project first, as that will help me strategize for future projects on this kind of scale...
