Does anyone else running the indexer notice the temperature of the indexer motor getting quite hot? I have a PRTAlpha. Have checked after it runs awhile and it gets up towards 170 degrees. Just wondering if it's a problem with my motor or some setting? Lowered the B speed to 270 which seemed to help but still gets hot. I have a VEXTA model ASM98AA-T10 made by Oriental I believe. This came in the indexer package I ordered from ShopBot.

Thanks!
Randy

Randy,
The T10 & T7.2 motors do heat up. This is normal for a stepper. Your AS911's probably don't get that hot, but the geared motors do. Steppers get hot...so don't be alarmed.
