Some of you know we use out BT48 to help us prototype new audio products for the powersports (mostly Harley) aftermarket. The bot has been amazing-and now we will be at the next level with our new 3d scanner found here http://www.creaform3d.com/en/handyscan3d/default.aspx

We can now scan a part or an entire dash or what ever--dump it into Solid works--then manipulate to speakers or other stuff where they should really never go. Once we have a drawing we like, we cut it out of foam on the bot-and when refined --send out for injection molded tooling. Between this and our bot--were really limited by imagination!

When the bot isnt prototyping--it helps us make retail type display and signage for our retail dealers--what an AWESOME tool!

How do these compare to Z-corps? I'm just starting to look into these tools.
Thanks!

Pez,
Show us some scan results when you get the chance.

Thanks

Upon further research I found the publication of the OEM agreement between Creaform and Z-corp. This seals my questions on hardware. Does anyone have any idea of price or software differences?
