Well since this is a bit out of the ordinary for Bot projects thought I might post a pic or two. This project is the aluminum landing gear for a 7/8 scale Neiuport Experimental aircraft. The upper and lower plates were cut from 6061T6 then they are rivited to the tubes. Interesting project!

There are a few botters that do airplane parts , props and prototyping with their bots. I have been trying to talk the guy that works with me to build a airplane, but i cant talk him into flying it. Since i see a carb hanging on the front i assume that this will be flown? Its a very interesting project and keep up the good work

Beautiful work! I marvel that pop rivets will handle the impact load in shear. (I do acknowledge there's quite a few of them...

The guys the fly Nieus are incredible. They are fantastic pilots with fantastic kits. Probably the most knowledgeable are Dick Starks and the KC Dawn Patrol guys at www.kcdawnpatrol.org (http://www.kcdawnpatrol.org)
