I've gotten emails from them for years because i liked 3d creation and they have come a long way in model and architectural creation and I wondered if anyone has used it for model or object creation and whethr or not their file format output is anything we could use?

I couldn't get any straight anwers in their forum because they don't know anything about cnc there and i couldn't get any good detail on file format output.
I can see how you could make good 3d figures or architectural details.

Hi james what i wanted to find out was what output filetypes this program produces, as the extensions i've seen are not familiar and i wondered if anyone who might be using this for creation could advise as to whether they have a filetype output that is compatible with what we use for cad like stl or 3ds, ect.

I have seen some really nice architectural models made with this and the detail(s) on the human forms look great.
I'm just not clear on whether those details will look as good for our uses.

I don't see a direct export from DAZ to .stl or .3ds file formats.

It looks like it can be exported to .obj then converted to .3ds or .stl in a more standard modeling package (I use 3ds MAX).

I just tried it - exported a model as an .obj file and imported to Aspire. So I guess the question is, what software are you using to toolpath?

the models will export quite well ... I have been using poser for a while.. you can export as an obj and then import into whatever program you are using to toolpath
