Well I finally have it all set up vacuum for the table ect. The problem i am having is that when I set up a partswork file I tell it to engrave 1/8 inch into the material I zero z to top of material yet it still air cuts the project not sure what I am missing I'm sure it is something simple

Did you load the firmware and run the setup routine to tell it what thickness of Z Zero plate you have ?.
