Has anyone ever built a CNC bed similar to the ones on the Thermwood CNC machines? Using aluminum extrusions for the frame, recessing a piece of aluminum (with vac holes) as the sub-top and throwing a spoilboard on top of that seems to be a simple way to create a permanent bed. Any thoughts?
