I'd like to get $32K, although I'd entertain offers and can potentially deliver it personally (and without taking it completely apart!). I paid just under $40K (more with shipping) and made the upgrade of the welded wheels.

I’m curious… typically Alpha steppers have purple labels. Has oriental motors changed their longstanding practice? Or is this actually a standard machine?

That changed a few years ago I think. Some of the newer machines I've seen don't have the purple labels anymore:
