    Default Wholesale Work

    Guys...
Here are some pics of a wholesale job from early in the year.

1st is a portion of the beaded wainscot mdf doors that were shown in other posts. We were able to obtain this job over other shops for 2 main reasons. 1) Square corners on the inside of the frame. 2) beads on upper fake draw front were aligned with those of the door below.

Second are an in progress and finished shots of a large entertainment unit from Birch and poplar. This was our first wholesale eCabs job and it turned out very well for both sides. It has inset poplar/birch ply shaker doors and a flat screen behind tambour.

Last is an Ipe and industrial grate gate that had to weigh in at 800 lbs. 2 layers of Ipe with the grate installed in a full dado.

Design by Architect, Mfgr by Islamorada Woodworks, Installation and finishing by Tom Baker, Cabinet Maker (Islamorada, FL) Tom is the proud new owner of my "old" PRSa 4 head machine.

Those are nice. I really like the wide tambour idea. Do you make your own or buy it?

    Lorin...
I did the slot cutting and Tom acquired the tambour and installed it. The cabinetry was a truckload of unfinished birch when I saw it last.

    Kevin...
The gate was made as a replacement of an existing unit that had fallen apart, So, designed by the original architect. The current cabinet was designed by the present.
