Default need help cutting marine plywood.

I have 40 sheets of 3/4" marine ply (mahogany) to cut. I am cutting it with a 1/4" but and my prt alpha is having problems if I try to do the first pass at 2ips .73 single pass cut. is this expecting too much?

I would think that .73 first pass with 1/4 bit is way to heavy a cut. Isn't the rule of thumb no more depth than the diameter of bit. That would be almost 3 time the diameter and maybe causing a lot of deflection of the bit

I can so it on softer ply at 3ips. so far I cranked the speed up to 4ips and two passes and that's working. then the cleanup pass at the same speed in two passes seems to work.
