    Well Jack, i checked it out. It's not free if you want to save the conversions. You have to pay and register. Just sayin

    I have been using MeshLab to convert one 3D format to another.

    Some time ago I started working on a structured light 3D digitizer, in the original project I used 35mm slides to project known images on the scene. The problem was that the slides did not register well from one frame to the next.

    Now I have a digital projector and I have resurrected the project. So I end up with Z-maps which I have to convert to STL files. That got me using MeshLab.

    FYI the 3D digitizing is starting to really come together. Hope to post some results in the near future..

    It was an upgrade for me so i guess i didn't pay that much attention....sorry.
    if you need anything converted let me know, i'll help you out.

    Jack, no worries was just playing with it. You just need to register in order to save the conversions is all.
