I am looking to get a buddy to do relifs/3d routering. I have a 60x144 but would like to have a buddy to do the relifs. Are they good at that.

If you mean 3D relief carving, yes. I have the BT48 Alpha, with a spindle, and I have done a lot of 3D stuff (mostly from Vector Art 3D files I have bought).

I would think the Alpha Buddy will cut as good as any other Alpha Bot' since the specs are the same (resolution, repeatability and power).
