myself don't do it unless you have enough leakage the fein will overheat. don't ask me how I know this I learned the hard way. even then it can just be too much for the vac on a long term capacity. really I would save the fein for what it is and buy one or two motors. you can get a fein motor for around 150 if you want to stick with 110v.
We use them as vacs and for our table. I will not seal the sides of the table to be safe.
