I'm about to do several projects with split wood and bowties to be filled with different plastics and polymers for accents. Some looks just like opal, granite, copper, gold, silver, and turquoise. It's amazing.

I'll post some pics after we're done with these test bowties I just did. My buddy who makes this stuff, who owns a paints and pigments manufacturing business "www.colortechmfg.com", is almost finished developing this and is about to bring it to market. He's an avid bowl turner and does awesome inlays with this stuff. He is mostly working on translucent color and stain pens for woodturners.
